		<description>Realistically IPODs, DVRs and Youtube are hardly the realm of &quot;early adopter&quot;.   DVRs make enough difference that you already try to account for shows that were timeshifted less than 24 hours after broadcast into your own ratings.

There is no argument that television will remain vital (and I think dominant), but &quot;viewers&quot; won&#039;t be deciding when, where and how to watch television -- PEOPLE will increasingly decide when, where and how to access ANY media.  

Either way, ultimately the internet itself will be the DVR, and people will be able to access information (including Nielsen ratings!) whenever and however they choose.</description>
