Facebook is supposed to be a safe haven for drunk teenagers who want to post pictures of themselves vomiting. These simple pleasures were being undermined by this solipsistic intruder, “25 Random Things About Me.” But once you stop being annoyed you realize that, at its best, it’s one of the more compelling wastes of time to hit the Web in years.

I’m Not a Superdelegate, but I Play One on the Internet

Like any of the 796 superdelegates in this highly charged presidential-election cycle, Tom Ryan says he’s taking his responsibility of choosing a Democratic nominee for president very seriously.
So seriously that the putative candidate for mayor of Scranton, Pa., has posted several YouTube videos describing what it’s like to be a superdelegate.

Clinton and Obama Talk Religion, Not Science

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are eager to talk about religion. But why are they so scared of science? The two remaining Democratic presidential candidates recently agreed to participate in the Compassion Forum, scheduled for April 13 at Messiah College in Harrisburg, Pa. Billed as a conversation on faith and values, the event will be broadcast by the Church Communication Network. It also comes five days before a proposed science debate that was canceled after the candidates refused to participate.
